what we believe
We Firmly Believe and Teach
that God made us and all creatures
"In six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them (Exodus 20:11)."
that all of the Bible is the inspired Word of God
"“All Scripture is God breathed (2 Timothy 3:16)."
that all people are born in sin
"There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)."
that God punishes sin with eternal death
"The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)."
that God in His love planned to save us and all people from the punishment we deserve
"From the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:13,14)."
that God did send His Son Jesus Christ, to pay for the sins of all people on the cross
"For God so love the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)."
that Jesus rose again from the dead on the third day proving that He is God’s Son our Lord and Savior
"He (Jesus) was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead (Romans 1:4)."
that through faith in Jesus Christ, true God and man, we have complete forgiveness and the hope of eternal life
"Since we have been justified (declared innocent of our sins) through faith, we have peace (forgiveness and eternal life) with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1)."
that through faith in Jesus we become a child of God
"From the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 2:13,14)."
that a Christian will want to lead a holy life in accord to the 10 Commandments
"To do Your will, O my God, is my desire (Psalm 40:8)."
Note: It is only when the Holy Spirit puts a new mind in me by faith in Jesus that I seek to do God’s will (Romans 8:5-10).
that the desire and power to bring forth fruits of faith comes from the Gospel message of forgiveness
"Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15)."
that all who believe in Jesus are saved
"For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son (Jesus) and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I (Jesus) will raise him up at the last day (John 6:40)."
